Requirements

Age between 6 – 20 years old
Completed Full Registration
Audition
Parents Interview
Parents must be actively involved in a fundraising event such as Give Miami Day, etc. (More information will be provided at the parent interview)

Musical Initiation Program
Orchestral Practice – required for all student
Instrument Private Class

All our classes are in the group format; we use the collective practice of music as a strategy for integration and social transformation.

Eligible instruments are:

Violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet, oboe, percussion, piano, double bass, Venezuelan cuatro, acoustic guitar and electric guitar, electric bass, keyboard and ukulele.

A New Student is the one who starts their process within the project for the first time, the participant may have prior knowledge of music or maybe a person without any knowledge of music.

Returning students is who belongs to the project and has already had the experience of the classes at YES
